What next?

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The first step is to contact me and we can organise a first meeting.
This will help you decide if counselling is right for you , if we will be able to work together and if this is the right time.
We will go through an assessment, identifying what you hope for, and I will explain what you may expect from our weekly sessions.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?
The sessions are 50 minutes long. I charge £60 per session. I have some some low cost places weekly so please contact me.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T COME ONE WEEK?
The rhythm of sessions is very important for processing. You can let me know if you are not able to come and I will try my best to reschedule, or offer a remote session. Fees are payable whether you are able to come or not, unless you have told me in advance (i will need at least two weeks notice).

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
It is impossible to say how many sessions you will need. It is best to agree to a series of sessions, and to review after a while. Counselling is not linear, and you may have identified an issue you would like to explore and end up looking at something totally different.

I would encourage you to speak to me on our first session about worries, or questions that you may have. However, i might not have all the answers or even give you the answer you hope for. Sometimes, accepting uncertainty is part of the process: in counselling, there is no one approach fits all.

I look forward to hearing from you!
